Description

While many of the differences between fraud, AML, and cyber business units are obstacles on the road toward organizational convergence, many financial institutions have begun more targeted efforts to integrate elements of these business units while providing the optimal customer experience. Seeking to aggregate, structure, and analyze the output of detection controls has been one approach, among many, that FIs have pursued—with varying degrees of success. This panel will discuss leveraging data and infrastructure investments, and the common challenges that FIs face in their efforts to integrate these functions. A key focus will be on the business drivers and strategic objectives behind these efforts as well as some examples of leading practices for achieving these objectives.
