Today, tens of millions of people are enslaved across the world, and modern slavery continues to thrive, generating many tens of billions annually. The time has come for the financial industry to act—to do more to protect the vulnerable and fight modern slavery, human trafficking, and elder abuse. This panel will explore how financial crime leaders from the private and public sectors can come together and—with better technology, innovation, and information sharing—more effectively prevent criminals from using the global financial system to benefit from the suffering of others.
