Description

Fraudsters can successfully impersonate legitimate customers in contact centers by combining breached data with social engineering skills. But reliably detecting incoming calls that use automatic number identification (ANI) spoofing can dramatically reduce the threat of fraud and improve the customer experience in the process. Faster, easier authentication makes it possible to meet customers’ needs more swiftly and reduces the average handle time of calls, thereby reducing operational costs in contact centers. This panel will discuss fraud challenges and how emerging schemes target contact centers that use outdated security infrastructure, with a focus on how detection of ANI spoofing can streamline the authentication process and significantly improve the call experience for customers.
