Rick is the Managing Director and Head of Fraud Strategy and Governance at TIAA where he and his team manage fraud prevention and detection controls related to all of our customer interactions with TIAA. Rick Swenson has 30+ years of experience working in the financial services industry with multiple fortune 100 firms.
As an Executive, he has sponsored and led dozens of complex multi-year fraud prevention, detection and investigation strategies and solutions including supporting the industry’s first retail mobile check deposit capability, credit card EMV Conversion, the use of multi-modal mobile biometrics and omni-channel customer authentication.
Rick actively participates in numerous financial service industry forums that oversee and manage fraud and security risk.
Rick is a graduate of Augustana College and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
