With over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity and networking, Pat Curtin is the Director of Technical Sales at Field Effect. Prior to Field Effect, he spent 16 years at the Communications Security Establishment (Canada’s NSA), most recently as Director of the organization’s Advanced Capability Development Centre. From 2011 to 2015, he led CSE’s SOC. Previously, Pat worked in product management and technical sales in two networking start ups. He started his career as a communications engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces, a period highlighted by operational deployments to Africa, the Middle East, and Haiti. Pat holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario, Canada.
