Kevin Thomsen is the Head of Cybercrime for TD Protect Platform – Fraud Threat Management. He is responsible for establishing a new capability and associated services designed to identify and prevent cyber-criminal activity before TD or our clients and customers are negatively impacted. Kevin is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of information security and IT experience within the financial services industry. Prior to TD, he held leadership roles in Cyber Crime Prevention and Cyber Threat Intelligence at Bank of America building out those programs. Kevin holds several innovation patents around cybercrime prevention and detection. Over his career, Kevin developed capability models to assess the maturity of a client’s threat intelligence program while at IBM. He also worked at Citigroup for 17 years, where he held numerous roles with increasing responsibility within Global Technology Infrastructure, the Private Bank, and the Corporate Information Security Office.
