Andy Keys currently leads the Cross Channel Authentication team that supports Mobile and Online Banking, Financial Centers, Contact Centers and Fraud Centers.  His team is focused on creating a secure and frictionless authentication experience for customers. The current direction is moving away from traditional authenticators like ID/Passcode to less traditional methods that include device identification or biometrics.  Currently, the team delivers on Identity Verification, Device Recognition, User Credentials, Second Factor Authentication, 3rd Party Authentication, Aggregation Authentication, and Biometrics.

Keys has been with the bank since 1998 holding many roles in the Consumer Retail Technology space.  Beginning his career in Contact Center and IVR.  After a few years he moved to Internet banking and has been in the digital channel ever since.   Working in Sales, Services then Authentication.  He currently manages teams in Seattle, WA, Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Dallas, TX.  Prior to Bank of America, Keys worked for Honeywell in their IT division.  

Keys has a master’s degree in IT Management from the University of Oregon. Originally from Houston, TX, Keys currently lives in Seattle, WA.
